The house that Jack built: being the account of Jack Bull, Esq. who sailed from these shores to a land far away to live there and trade with the natives of that said land 12th day of September, 1798 (1999).
This is a tour de force. The use of a traditional English
nursery rhyme to tell the story of colonisation and raupatu (confiscation) is
stunning. The messages in the images requires intense study and examination.
